The first rifle available is .177 calibre (4.5mm) and is 95cm overall length having a barrel of 45cm and is just under 2.5kg bare weight. The stock is carved from American Walnut and equipped with printed SLS furniture including an adjustable butt pad. The rifle will be supplied with refill adaptor and muzzle break as shown. The Nimrod is a unique single shot light weight hunting style air rifle with rotary breach and a small air volume of just 90cc with the intention that it would be easy to charge with a hand pump without too much effort being required. The max charging pressure is 200 bar and best operating pressure around 180 bar. All are hand made and as such each one will be very slightly different. Whilst we have 4 kits of parts available for building in various calibres, currently the .177 rifle shown here is finished and is ready to go. These rifles will be set to comply with the uk law of sub 12 ft/lbs of energy at the muzzle and typically perform at just over 11 ft/lbs using good quality airgun pellets.
